The boys' soccer team travelled up to Noblesville to take on the host school and #11 Millers for the IHSAA Sectional 9 semifinals. The two highly ranked teams played through two halves of regulation and two overtime periods to a 0-0 tie, with the game coming down to a penalty kick shootout. The Millers jumped out to a lead after the first shooter from each team took their respective shots. Junior goalkeeper Gray Morgan saved one of the Millers' shots, and another shot of the Millers sailed over the goal. The Hounds' next four shooters all calmly placed the ball in the back of the net, giving the Greyhounds a 4-3 advantage and securing the 1-0 victory, propelling the team to move on to the sectional final on Saturday afternoon. Morgan recorded the shutout on the evening. The #3 Greyhounds play Zionsville for the sectional championship at Noblesville Saturday afternoon, with a scheduled kickoff of 2:00. The win tonight moves the team's record to 13-1-3.
