Carmel High School has captured two IHSAA state championships in less than 24 hours, taking home the girls track and field title and the girls tennis team championship.

The Girls Tennis state championship is the 208th overall team and 187th IHSAA title. It is the seventh IHSAA team championship of the school year, marking the 5th time Carmel has won 7 state titles in one school year, the only school to do so in IHSAA history.

The Greyhounds defeated 7 - top 15 teams in the tournament on the way to the program’s 14th overall title (4th in 6 years). Carmel played #1, #4, #5, #6, #12, #13, #15. Maddie Littell and Gabby Hall remain in the individual doubles state finals next weekend.
