The boys' soccer team traveled to Noblesville this evening to play the North Central Panthers in the first round of sectionals in the IHSAA State Tournament. The Greyhounds were able to jump out to a lead midway through the first half when senior Quinn Wu hit a beautiful shot off an assist from senior Curtis Droste. The score stayed 1-0 at halftime. The Hounds were able to double up the score roughly 10 minutes into the second half when senior Xander Dora served a lovely ball into the box and senior Evan Bardos headed home the opportunity to make the score 2-0. The game saw the Hounds create several other scoring opportunities, but they were unlucky not to find another goal. Junior Gray Morgan recorded the shutout in goal. The #3 Greyhounds move on to play the host school and #11 Noblesville on Wednesday evening, with a scheduled kickoff of 5:30. The win tonight moves the team's season record to 12-1-3.
