The Boys Varsity Soccer team kicked off a long homestand with a 2-1 victory over Pike tonight. Senior Curtis Droste opened the scoring with a header off a beautifully served free kick from Senior Quinn Wu. The score remained 1-0 at halftime. Later in the game, the Hounds added the second goal when Senior Troy Enslin finished off an opportunity created by Senior Xander Dora. Pike found the back of the net with two minutes remaining, and the Greyhounds were able to possess the ball to run out the clock. Tonight's win runs the team's record to 2-0-0 on the young season. The boys return to action next week, Tuesday, August 26th, at home vs Greenfield-Central.
