Carmel Boys Lacrosse wins first game of 2024 Carmel Boys 2023 state champions campaign opened up with 2023 D2 state champion Brebeuf Jesuit. The game was a total team effort. Carmel saw 11 Hounds score goals and benefited from 9 assists. 4 varsity players earned their first varsity goal. Leo Prosser, Evan Coulter and Ike Stitle were top point getters with 4 points each. The face off crew went 93% from the dot winning 20 of 21 faceoff attempts. The defense shut out their opponent for the first time in 3 years, Both Mason Buttery and Will Bates saved all attempts. Carmel's next game is against 2023 Kentucky State Champion St Xavier on Saturday. The Greyhounds JV1 play at 11 am followed by Varsity at 1 pm.
