For the 3rd week in a row, the Carmel Girls Cross Country earned a win by capturing the Flashrock Invitational over highly ranked Homestead and Westfield. The margin of victory was 8 points in what was the Greyhounds 3rd win in as many weekends. Seniors Annabel Pollert and Larkin Taylor lead the TEAM by placing 1st and 4th respectively in the field of 150 runner. Pollert, a U. of Colorado signee, has now tallied 3 individual wins on the season. Taylor capped off an exciting week by announcing her commitment to run cross country and track at Indiana University. Other scorers for the TEAM were Olivia Ruch(Fr.)-11th, Margo Halle(Jr.)-18th, Jade Gackowski(So.)-20, Riley Myers(Jr.)-25th, and Elise Maurer(Jr.)-29th. In the JV race, Senior Maija Gilhooly won the race while leading the TEAM to a decisive victory. Anna Yoon (Sr.), Izzie Shin(Jr.), Ashley Kent (So.), Berkley Taylor(Fr.), Kalinda Lee(Jr.), Katie Zhuravlev (Jr.), and Annabelle Inman(Sr.) rounded out the scoring which came from a combined varsity and JV tabulation.
