In a physical, hard-fought matchup, the Greyhounds broke a scoreless tie in the second half. Junior Matthew Gillihan set up the sole goal, slipping a header to sophomore Sebastien Shunk, who finished to put Hounds on the board. The team's defense finished strong down the stretch to preserve the lead. Senior goalkeeper Gray Morgan earned the shutout, keeping Lawrence North off the scoreboard.
