The 2026 version of the Greyhound Harriers started strong this weekend the John Cleland 4K Classic held at Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana. After having their meet cancelled last weekend from unprecedented flooding, the TEAM was ready to compete on Saturday. In the Freshmen/Sophomore race, the varsity 7 scorers were: Olivia Ruch(Fr.), Jade Gaczkowski(So.), Berkley Taylor (Fr.), Molly Foley(So.), Ashley Kent (So.), Lily Kamstra(So.), and Jasmine Krebs (Fr.) In her first high school cross country race, Olivia Ruch was impressive finishing 2nd in her race of 206 runners and 4th overall when you combined with the other race. Ruch covered 2.5 miles or 4K in 14:37. In the Junior/Senior race, the varsity 7 were Annabel Pollert(Sr.), Riley Myers(Jr.), Elise Maurer(Jr.), Izzie Shin(Jr.), Kalinda Lee(Jr.), Katie Zhuravlev(Jr.), and Annabel Inman(Sr.). University of Colorado signee and 2 time returning all-state, Pollert, finished 2nd place overall in a time 13:47 which was :14 faster than '2025. The TEAM travel to Noblesvile this weekend to defend their 2024 and 2025 Hamilton County TEAM titles.
